- Who was David?
Who is he?David “Dovid Chaim ben Tzvi Akiva” Rottenstreich,
was a 20 year old from Queens, NY, and a student in Yeshiva University. He was in critical condition in the Pediatric ICU, with Staphylococcal Pneumonia, which had spread to his entire body. He fought for four days but unfortunately didn’t make it. He passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009.
He was a good friend, dedicated to friends, family, and Torah, and would love for you to read more about him in the background story, click here
- Sefer Torah
In addition to the Sefer Torah being dedicated today, we will be selling a Sefer in David’s memory as well. The Sefer is a compilation of Divrei Torah written by David’s friends, family, and many of his Rabbeim. At the moment the Sefer will be sold at the Hachnassa taking place this morning, and later today I will put up a link making the Sefer available to be purchased online.
